Skin Alert has developed a Clinical Development Program to provide GPs with a significant opportunity to upskill themselves in skin cancer detection and treatment for better practice standards and patient outcomes.

By securing one of the limited number of positions currently available at Skin Alert centres you will gain access to one of Australia’s leading clinical development programs in skin cancer treatment and detection.

Skin Alert operate 12 clinics throughout Australia. Our 35 GPs with a special interest in skin cancer last year detected and treated 355 melanomas. Notwithstanding the fact that we also treated thousands of BCC’s and SCC’s.

  • pre-orientation self assessment
  • clinical orientation with a senior clinical mentor
  • a self paced modular curriculum with external certification
  • recognition for credit towards the University of Queensland’s School of Medicine Masters Degree in
    Skin Cancer
  • quarterly peer review with access to a Medical Advisory Committee
  • workshops in advanced surgical techniques

3. Skin Alert Clinics feature:

Diploma in Skin Cancer Management

Skin Alert is pleased to invite external medical practitioners to participate in its Clinical Development Program. This is the industry's leading preceptorship program in Skin Cancer Detection and Treatment.

Funded and developed by Skin Alert with specialist medical oversight to ensure relevance to today's clinical environment, Skin Alert's Certificate in Skin Cancer Management is recognised by the prestigious University of Queensland's School of Medicine for credit towards its Masters Degree in Skin Cancer Medicine.

Skin Alert’s Self Assessment process facilitates the development of an individually customised learning program for each participant based on the comprehensive curriculum.
